Did you ever wonder what it would be like to preserve your conscience, beyond the restraints of your physical body? Existing, purely in the realm of thought. Putting the question of whether one can exist without the other aside for the sake of argument, I will presume “thought” as what we perceive, process and create within ourselves. Now, coming back to the question at hand: What is this human obsession with eternal life, where does it stem from?
Is it really the fear of death, the oh-so-worst thing that can happen to someone? It might seem so, at least on the surface value. But the Devil’s due aside, one can also look at this question from an insider’s angle. In this mini non-fictive series, I will try to re-explore the path that took *me* to live forever and exist outside what made me fallible, human; I assure you, it is not as unpleasant as it may sound to you. For if there are two things I have learned so far, is that nothing is invincible, and more always comes after the first raindrop; breakthrough.
If you lack the patience to read or wait, the very core of what I found as a way back to myself was getting acquainted with my mortality and showing the courage for showing sympathy for “what makes a human” as a whole. If not: Thank you for tagging along in this journey, we may begin once you are ready.
